.Net Programmer Description

CCI is looking for an experienced .Net programmer that has the ability to create Window’s based applications, create user-friendly forms, create database structure, implement change, and gain internal as well as external buyoff surrounding new procedures as we move from CCI’s legacy system to CCI’s new software platform. The right candidate will be experienced in .Net working with business objects, database coding. Candidate must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, enjoy working in a team environment, (both internal and external customers,) CCI is seeking a candidate who is ready to commit to an exciting position with a thriving locally-owned software company. - Build from UI to database applications.
- Complete and maintain unit testing

General Duties
- Requirements gathering
- Database table design, implementation and maintenance
- Old database to new database conversion mapping
- Unit testing
- Troubleshooting
- Testing and implementation
- Research better tools or improvements in the programming process
- Participate in test/demo application for potential customers/conferences.
- Assist in documentation of conversion package and process.
- Serve as internal resource for Visual Studio and VB.Net coding
- Other duties as needed
Required KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Significant .NET experience required
- VB.NET experience a plus but not required
- ClickOnce deployment a plus
- Oracle 10g or 11g, PL/SQL experience a plus
- SQL Server 2005 experience a plus
- Infragistics experience a plus
- WCF and/or WPF experience a plus
- Web Services experience a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or four years of relevant experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access a plus
- Must demonstrate ability to successfully to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functioning team environment
- Experience working one-on-one with end-users/clients highly desirable
- Think proactively, function independently
- Expert and demonstrated problem-solving skills a must
