WPF / .Net Programmer Description

Do you have the latest .Net development skills that you are ready to put to work in developing a leading edge database application? If so, then apply for the .Net Application Software Developer at CCI. You will be working with a highly skilled team that is dedicated to providing current and existing customers with a software application that is flexible, scalable, and highly functional for years to come. Oracle knowledge is a plus. Technical requirements: knowledge of objected oriented event driven application design. Experience in at least one of the following areas a huge plus: VB, VBA, Oracle, or SQL.

CCI is looking for an experienced .NET programmer that has the ability to create Window’s based applications, create user-friendly forms, create database structure, implement change, and gain internal as well as external buyoff surrounding new procedures as we move from CCI’s legacy system to CCI’s new software platform.. The right candidate will be experienced in .NE working with business objects, database coding. 1.     Complete two to three modules within product suite.

a.     Learn business processes

b.    Get stakeholder buy in for modules you are working on

c.     Complete Technical specifications

d.    Build from UI to database applications.

e.     Complete and maintain unit testing

f.     Be flexible in implementation

g.    Continue current functionality while implementing best practices and procedures

General Duties

 

  1. Requirements gathering
  2. Database table design, implementation and maintenance
  3. Old database to new database mapping
  4. Unit testing
  5. Troubleshooting
  6. Testing and implementation
  7. Research better tools or improvements in the programming process
  8. Participate in test/demo application for potential customers/conferences.
  9. Assist in documentation of conversion package and process.
  10. Serve as internal resource for VB.Net  and VB.Net coding
  11. Other duties as needed

 

Required KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

 

1.     Significant .NET experience required

2.     VB.NET experience a plus but not required

3.     One-Click deployment a plus

3.     Oracle 10g, PL/SQL experience a plus

4.     SQL Server 2005 experience a plus

5.     Infragistics experience a plus

6.     WCF and/or WPF experience a plus

7.     Bachelor’s Degree or four years of relevant experience required

8.     Proficiency with  Microsoft Access a plus

9.     Must have demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative, cross-functioning team environment

10.  Experience working one-on-one with end-users/clients highly desirable

11.  Thinks proactively, functions independently
