Subject Matter Expert Description

Colorado CustomWare, Inc. (CCI) is a private company in the business of providing valuation software to jurisdictions and agency who do mass appraisal. CCI provides software that equips customers in individual and mass valuations for residential, commercial, oil & gas, and personal property.
CCI’s Subject Matter Expert, (SME,) department focuses exclusively on the needs that are unique and specific to government professionals. The SME team is intimately familiar with CCI’s Land Records Management suite of products and assists new clients in communicating what functionality already exists and how that might be incorporated into a new business process for the jurisdiction. The breadth of knowledge and understanding among the SMEs allows CCI to develop solutions that are tailored to our customers while improving efficiencies and functionality.
The right candidate will be a highly organized, self-starter who will be able to take the initiative on complex projects while keeping the team informed via constant, effective and efficient communication. The selected candidate will be able to function independently to a large degree with minimal supervision.

General Duties
- Work with client to design and conduct internal and external trainings
- Assist Conversion team in the data conversion process, including data-mapping, gap analysis, etc.
- Meet with the Client to determine what the current version of RealWare is missing in order to provide the same functionality as the new Client’s legacy system
- Work with Customer Support on high-priority client issues
- Use appraisal knowledge to assist clients
- Work with the client to suggest new business practices so the new Client can effectively utilize the product
- Verify Customer Support solutions to issues that involve data updates
- Debug issues to determine the level of support that is needed
- Guide Programmers with knowledge when they are fixing bug issues or programming new functionality.
- Attend Conferences
- Create and manage work order process at all levels
- Provide product demonstrations, including presentations to large or small groups
- Assure new functionality is compatible with existing Functionality
- Guide Documentation team in writing the User documentation.
- Assist in the Request for Proposal process
- Work with Customer Support in recreating bug scenarios and troubleshooting data errors
- Work with the clients for how to and training needs
- Assist the Testing lead in product testing process
- Work with Project management team throughout implementation
- Work with Sales team, as needed
- Other duties, as required
Required KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- Hands-on, real-world, appraisal experience a must!
- Relational database experience preferred
- A “can-do”, helpful and supportive attitude to all team members

- Ability to be proactive about all activities that are required to complete given
