Position Description
Be a part of the CCI software development team by focusing on defect/bug fixes, product enhancements, reporting and tier 3 support needs. The Software Developer works closely with Customer Support (CS) on the prioritization of work while maintaining alignment with the Software Development Team. This role also provides feedback to other developers or architects regarding areas that have high failure rates.
Essential Job Functions:

Research and solve technical issues with CCI software in most timely and
efficient manner possible
·
Work with CS on prioritization and strategy of defect resolution
·
Deliver reports through CCI reporting technology
·
Provide input on improvement in areas of high failure rates
·
As time permits, work on product enhancements and features
Additional Job Functions:
·
Support CS and Development managers as needed
·
Be an internal resource for other developers
Education and Work Experience Qualifications:
·
Excellent problem-solving and
trouble shooting skills
·
Think proactively, function
independently
·
BS in computer related field or associates degree with some experience preferred

Experience dealing with changing
requirements from internal and external customers

Computer Skills:
·
Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
·
Knowledge of Internet communications software
·
Microsoft and Oracle software development tools
Physical Demands:
Position requires the ability to communicate with others through the exchange of
information. Requires sitting at
desk for extended durations and frequent and repetitious use of hands, fingers,
in the daily operation of office equipment. Position requires frequent standing,
walking and reaching with hands and arms. Position must occasionally lift and/or
move up to 25 pounds with assistance.
Work Environment:
CCI is a typical office environment.
The noise level in the work environment is
usually moderate and continuous sensitivity of co-workers in close proximity
required.
The employee must be able to complete their
work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions,
including but not limited to staff, clients, and vendors walking through and
conversing in the area, telephones ringing and conversations carrying over from
cubicles, interruptions to answer the telephone or to answer questions from
others.
