TORRANCE COUNTY, NM SELECTS COLORADO CUSTOMWARE TO PROVIDE CAMA SOFTWARE
FORT COLLINS, Colo., Jan. 31, 2006 - Colorado CustomWare, Inc. (CCI) a leading developer
of Land Records Management (LRM) solutions, is enthusiastic to announce that Torrance
County, N.M., has signed a contract for CCI to provide a Computer Assisted Mass
Appraisal (CAMA) system that can meet New Mexico's unique needs. Torrance County
prides itself as being "the heart of New Mexico" and one of the largest producers
of agriculture in the Untied States.
"We selected CCI because we felt that they had superior customer support, and a
proven track record in converting data in a timely, accurate manner," stated Torrance
County Assessor, Chris Pohl. "The implementation of CCI's CAMA product will be beneficial
to the assessment staff and the tax payers of Torrance County. The functionality
and efficiencies in the software will support fair and equitable assessment values."
CCI is enthusiastic to provide software solutions to another New Mexico county.
San Juan County has been a CCI customer since 2000. "We are excited to see that
another New Mexico county is moving forward with CCI," stated San Juan County Assessor,
Clyde Ward. "As a customer for the past five years, we have never regretted the
decision to go with CCI for our CAMA needs. They are always improving their products,
and their customer support sets them apart."
This project marks an exciting new opportunity for CCI, who is actively involved
in the New Mexico Association of Counties. "We are very eager to move forward with
this project," stated Kevin O'Connell, CCI's Project Manager. "It will be exciting
to work with Torrance and show other counties in New Mexico that a CAMA system can
be implemented with a complete conversion of data in a very aggressive timeframe."
CCI is very hopeful that additional New Mexico counties will be onboard with CCI's
CAMA system in the near future.
